Rivers State Governor, Mr. Siminalayi Fubara, has appointed Mr. Benibo Anabraba, as the new Secretary to the State Government.
A statement issued on Monday by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Information and Communications, Dr. Sirawo, said Anabraba would be sworn in at 4pm at Government House.
Anabraba, a supporter of the Federal Capital Territory Minister, Chief Nyesom Wike, belonged is representing Akuku-Toru II in the House of Assembly. He belonged to the Martins Amaewhule faction of the House of Assembly.
He replaces Prof. Ibibia Worika, who served as the SSG in the State of Emergency government that ended on September 18th. He also hailed from the same local government as Sr. Tammy Danagogo, the SSG in the government before the State of Emergency.
